The Tour de France 2019: the yellow century

It's a special year for the Tour de France, and for a good reason, this year, the yellow jersey is celebrating its 100th anniversary!

From July, the 6th to July, the 28th 2019, the famous cycling race will last 3 weeks, and will focus on the East and the South of France. This 106th edition, which will celebrate the yellow century, will leave Brussels to go to Paris via the famous passes of the Massif Central, the Pyrenees and the Alps.

The route of the Tour de France 2019, many stages in the Pyrenees

The Great Loop of the Tour de France breaks down into 21 stages. From Brussels, Belgium, the peloton will head to Reims, then to the East of France, passing Colmar, near Strasbourg, before continuing the race in central France and into the Pyrenees. It will then move to the South East, to finish in Paris, with a last race of 127 kms.

Find in this rich program of the Tour de France, the riders to follow, among the 175 participants, the winner 2018, the Welsh Thomas Geraint and the second of the Tour last year, the Dutchman Tom Dumoulin. But above all, the French can get on the podium, Romain Bardet and Thibaut Pinot.
