What a pleasure it is to be free to go out and enjoy everyday life again!

Since 9 June, restaurants, terraces and public places are open again and offer to welcome you (almost) as before. This is a good reason to travel to France and stay at City Résidence!

To welcome you in the best conditions, we give you some good ideas of outings near our residences:
 

In Strasbourg, the European Parliament reopens its doors to visitors!
After many months of closure, the seat of the European Parliament is once again open to visitors in small groups. For the days and times, you can discover this iconic place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 1pm to 6pm, and from 9am to 12pm on Friday and Saturday only.

From our residences located in Rue des Magasins in Strasbourg, you can get there in less than 20 minutes thanks to the tramway H - WILSON stop (200m from the residences)
 

Also in Strasbourg, the museums will be free this summer!
To celebrate the reopening of public places and museums, the city of Strasbourg had offered free admission to historical places until June 30th. Good news: extension of this offer, the visits will be free until August 31st!

  • Museum of Fine Arts: Before the museum, what were paintings for (ends 2 August 2021)

In Avignon, the Palace of the Popes invites you to immerse yourself in the 14th century!

Have you ever wondered how life was led by the Pope in this great monument classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site? 

That's what the Avignon tourist office is offering you to discover during 1h45 to learn more about the daily life, the food, the anti-poisoning parades for the Pope, and many other historical anecdotes!
 

Bordeaux celebrates wine from 17 to 20 June
Accompanied by numerous wine merchants and partner restaurants, the city of Bordeaux is offering the opportunity to meet wine growers and discover the various products of the Bordeaux region.

Numerous cultural activities will be proposed to find museums, test new tastings, and visit sailing ships.

This event will take place in the heart of the Gironde capital, close to City Résidence Bordeaux.
 

Paris, the epicentre of tourism in France!
The City of Light is also reopening its cultural venues and regaining its tourist appeal.
The Louvre, the Orsay Museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Floral Parks, the surrounding castles... the map of excursions will delight all your desires.

In addition, to compensate for the closure of the Grand Palais on the Champs Elysées, you will be able to enjoy a temporary exhibition space on the Champ de Mars esplanade. A programme to be discovered on the website of the Paris tourist office.

Access to Paris from Ivry-sur-Seine: via the RER C or the metro line 14.
 

Aix-en-Provence, a festival to dream about!
The pleasure of being able to celebrate and enjoy culture is already good news, but with the "Rêvons Ensemble" Festival in Aix-en-Provence, the summer promises to be artistic!
From 30 June to 25 July, discover numerous artists and various plays.
City Résidence also welcomes you on these dates in its apartment hotel.

Not to mention that all the restaurants in the area will no doubt be delighted to meet you to discover the local cuisine! All you have to do is book a stay in one of our residences.
